The CEO of CYTEC Zylindertechnik GmbH, Timo Klement, informs about challenges due to the turnaround in the automotive industry and announces the development of future-oriented innovations which will be introduced in 2021.
Dear business partners of CYTEC Zylindertechnik GmbH,
In these turbulent times, I would like to address you personally as CEO.
We are shaken not only by the turnaround in the automotive industry, but also with the economic state of emergency of a pandemic. We are all trying to overcome this challenge as unscathed as possible.
CYTEC is a family-run, second generation, medium-sized mechanical engineering company; we are using this time to concentrate on our core competencies and to expand them even further.
During this time, we are putting our energy into the development of future-oriented innovations, which we would like to present to you as world premieres in 2021. You can look forward to innovations in the areas of cylinder technology, clamping technology, milling technology and Industry 4.0+!
However, it is not only in the area of product development that things are happening: in fact, we have greatly expanded our team in the areas of engineering & technology, service and sales.
A change in the management of CYTEC has taken place as of January 1, 2021; Mr. Stephan Weuthen has left CYTEC to enter his well-deserved retirement. We are pleased to announce his experienced successor Dr. Marcus Queins!
Dr. Marcus Queins has taken over the position as Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of CYTEC. It is a great honor for us to welcome him to our ranks. With more than 22 years of experience in the field of mechanical and plant engineering, he is an asset to CYTEC and we are looking forward to further developing the company together.
